The Health & Safety of our employees, our customer’s employees and members of the public is our priority. That is why Health & Safety is always at the forefront of our thinking.
We have created a comprehensive H & S policy that is reviewed annually, or earlier if circumstances change.
Employee H & S Training
Each new employee goes through the following H & S training:
Watch our 30 minute “How to clean safely & effectively” video.
Complete a 39 question test paper to ensure that the employee has watched and understood the video.
Attend a fully paid induction and training session in our head office consisting of risk assessment training including basic first aid kit use, fire evacuation procedures, manual handling , chemical handling, cleaning colour codes and the most common cleaning tasks. The aim of this session is to give each new employee the skills and knowledge necessary for cleaning in the majority of working environments.
A site induction each time an employee works at a customer’s premises for the first time including procedures if they injure themselves, emergency evacuation procedures, location of PPE, and a general H & S risk assessment for the cleaning job at the site.
An annual review of the risk assessments covered in the employee’s initial training & induction session
An annual review of the H & S risk assessment for the cleaning job at the employee’s regular place(s) of work.
Any other training or support identified during the employee’s period of employment.
H & S information for customers
As a new customer we would liaise with you to create a bespoke H & S Risk Assessment for the cleaning job(s) at your premises.
Once we have created this H & S Risk Assessment, we would bring a H & S folder to site including this document, C.O.S.H.H Risk Assessments & Safety Data Sheets for each chemical that we provide for our team to use and any other relevant H & S documents. This folder will be kept on site in a place accessible to both our cleaning team and our customer and would be reviewed annually, or earlier in the event of any changes to the cleaning job.
