As our staff and our customers are mainly local people we believe that we have a responsibility to give something back to our local Halton community whenever we can.
HERE A FEW EXAMPLES OF THIS DURING THE LAST FEW YEARS:
In July 2024 we raised £450 for Mind mental health charity by walking the Monsal Trail in the Peak District.
In May 2023 we raised £491 for the National Autistic Society by carrying out a sponsored walk up Moel Famau.
In May 2022 our team raised £400 for Warrington Animal Welfare by carrying out a sponsored walk up Moel Famau in North Wales. Visit us on Twitter to view more of our photos - CLICK HERE
In July 2021 our fantastic team abseiled down Liverpool Cathedral and walked from Spike Island in Widnes to Walton Gardens in Warrington to raise money for Alder Hey Children's Hospital. We raised a total of £2001.
We have supported Widnes based organisation Nightstop Communities NW ltd for a number of years. NCNW provide accomodation and counselling services for the vulnerable in our society. In June 2021 we raised £605 by doing a team cycling challenge. In 2019 we raised £225 by doing sponsored runs, and we have supported them with regular donations for a number of years.
In February 2021, to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, we asked the public to nominate their favourite charity or organisation that benefits our local Halton community, and we pledged to donate £250 to whoever received the most nominations. The winner was Halton Riverside Boxing Club, who's coaches volunteer their time to train local children and adults.
We have made monthly contributions to our fantastic local hospice Halton Haven for a number of years and in 2019 we raised a further £225 by doing sponsored runs.
We have supported the Halton Christmas Toy Appeal each Christmas since 2019, donating over £500 and supporting the appeal in other ways too.
In 2020 we raised a total of £1110 by asking other local businesses to join us in donating to the appeal.
We have provided cleaning for Halton’s foodbanks on a non-profit basis for a number of years and have also done food collections with our employees.
When Widnes Vikings were in danger of going bankrupt, our employees stepped up to the plate and raised £1500 by doing sponsored walks, supermarket bucket collections and donating from their wages (we matched their donations). We are also Widnes Vikings’ official Cleaning partners and instead of being paid money for providing the cleaning service, we get matchday tickets for the hospitality lounge, which we then donate back to the community through our 1st try scorer competitions. We hope to resume this once covid allows.
We offer a generous discount for local charities, like The Studio, who are a fantastic local organisation, and have benefitted from discount cleaning from us since 2012.
We are often recognised for the quality of our service and for the community minded, responsible way that we run our company. In recent years we have received the following awards and recognition:
